Cape Fear Insurance Associates, Inc. was founded by Walter L. Hester, retired Nationwide Insurance executive. Originally located in downtown Southport, we are located at 4320 Southport-Supply Road, Suite 300, Southport, NC.

Having the cornerstone of our business being the customer and their insurance needs, we merged with Wells insurance in October of 2010 to be able to enhance our professional, courteous and efficient insurance service through the addition of more than 16 direct insurance markets.
Wells Insurance is a local insurance firm located in both Wilmington and Southport. They have always stood for strength, stability and exceptional customer service in the insurance industry. From their beginnings in 1920, they have grown to include an experienced staff of more than 70 professionals, and specialize in Commercial Insurance, Personal Insurance, Life Insurance and Health Insurance.
